To enhance public awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development, HK Electric and the Conservancy Association join hands to implement the Green Hong Kong Green (GHKG) project.

Under the project, a total of 11 eco-heritage routes on Hong Kong and Lamma islands have been developed, including the latest one "The Eastern Sparkle" in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island launched in March 2021. The other 10 routes are located in Wan Chai, Western District, various country parks on Hong Kong Island as well as Lamma Island.

We have produced education panels en-route and trained more than 200 volunteer eco-leaders to conduct eco-tours for the public. A GHKG App is also developed for hiking fans to explore the routes at their own pace.
