What are Smart Power Services?

Addressing the community's aspirations for cleaner air, and in support of the Government's energy and environmental policy objectives and its Climate Action Plan 2030+, HK Electric introduced a number of funding and service schemes under "Smart Power" to further encourage the use of renewable energy (RE) and promote energy efficiency and conservation (EE&C) , collectively termed as "Smart Power Services".

What is the scope of Smart Power Services?

The suite of Smart Power Services includes five schemes related to EE&C, two schemes on RE targeting different clusters of electricity users.

When will be the schemes under Smart Power Services open for application?

All schemes are open for application now. For details, please refer to the respective webpage of the schemes:
- Smart Power Building Fund
- Smart Power Care Fund
- Smart Power Energy Audit
- Smart Power Loan Fund
- Smart Power Education Fund
- Feed-in Tariff Scheme
- Renewable Energy Certificates

When will Smart Power Services become effective?

Schemes under Smart Power Services has become effective on 1 January 2019.
