To further enhance customer experience, HK Electric has launched Virtual Assistant, Elsie who is an alternative enquiry channel to handle general enquiries, making it more convenient for customers to obtain information. Simplified the registration process of Account-On-Line (AOL) service

To encourage customers switching to e-billing, HK Electric has simplified the registration process of AOL service in September 2019. Customers can simply scan the "e-Bill Registration" QR code on the electricity bill and activate the AOL service in just a few steps.

Awards for Outstanding Customer Services

HK Electric has won the "Service Retailers of the Year – Retail (Services) Category Award" for nine consecutive years and "Excellence Award" for two consecutive years in the Mystery Shopper Programme organised by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA). Customer Services Executive, Ms. Yandy Kung, has also won 2019 Excellent Service Star and Gold Award under the "Public Utilities Category" of the 2019 Service & Courtesy Award (Junior Frontline).

Furthermore, the Call Centre and the Customer Emergency Services Centre have won the Gold award under "Mystery Caller Assessment Award" organised by Hong Kong Call Centre Association. Customer Services Executive, Ms. Vinca Lau, has also won Inbound Contact Centre Representative of the Year (Silver Award).
